Already noticed the red -1 for rank when you lose a spot and can no longer win gold till you get back up to where you were. Very cool and works simply. I noticed though if I am rank 4 and lose to rank 3 and goto rank 5 and fight rank 3 again I don't get gold - I should in that case, only not if I fight rank 4.
* BUG: In Chrome the tooltips for the skills selection screen ("Let the battle begin!") are appearing miles below the icon. This could be because I have a lot of skills.
Other changes look interesting, KO at 40% seems too high - can it be dodged? Do you have to land your normal blow? Although I noticed it costs 24AP now! So ok :) "Thor failed to perform the technique, his level is too low!" - level limit for KO needs to be on its tooltip,
or is it now for every skill you need to be equal or higher to the level of the skill? That could be cool and lead to more skills being used.
Skills brought into the 4th round are cool.
Raised the base AP up for all by level (130AP for level 10) = cool. Still need the Endurance bonus as well.

+ Tooltips are cool, btw it should say for Soul - "Spell effectiveness" not "Spell effectivity" which is not a word AFAIK, or if it is, it's not a very good word!
"Thor couldn't perform the technique again!" - for too many repeats, ok working. It might not be 100% clear though to new players. "Thor failed the technique because he repeated it too many times". But its probably ok. BTW the message should not come up for blank skills (which it does now).
Theme wise the KnockOut being described as "shockweaved" the opponents mind makes it a spell so Soul should play a part. And if there is warrior version it should be "Thor yells MAMA SAID KNOCK YOU OUT!" It will be interesting to see how this skill goes with balancing - it is very interesting with your new change of not repeating skills (might need to be clearer in game what the chances are of failure for repeating a skill).
CHANGE: I'd like to see the totaling of the fight changed to how I suggested earlier, also the total damage done to armour (blue) and total bleeding could be of interest too. It's not entirely clear (esp for new players) whether the damage to armour carries over to the next round or not.
STRATEGIC PLANNING: Some thought needs to go into some polish toward making the game accessible to new players, I think, I've mentioned a few examples before.
BUG: 10AP per started tournament fight works (and works well, good job) but a duel is still only costing 1AP - duel's should cost 10AP to start as well, or 5AP perhaps. Otherwise you can level all day.
DAILY BONUS: Should add some bonus XP for the first fight of the day for each Pixal to encourage frequent log ons. Also a gold bonus the first time the player logs on for the day.

If you use skills higher level than your pixal, you have a failure rate of (techLevel - pixalLevel) * 20%

Well, that was possibly due to a change on Thrust Level, if it is lv10 then you must only get it on level 10

There's always been coverage, I just have not shown it until now (which I must had). Basically, each armor part has a coverage % which is used when it is time to determine where a blow lands, so if you have a full suit of armor it may sum 80-90% of coverage, which means only 10% of the blows will go directly to the skin

Ah ok, that is all very cool. I feel you need to find ways to get this information across to the player in-game... it could be on a "skill examination screen" or something so its out of the way but the game is enhanced if the player knows this stuff. For instance strategically I might choose to try a skill a level above because despite the failure chance it is so much better than some other skill - without this information I would never try a skill above me because I would assume it never works.
I'd be most likely to include it in brackets whenever it occurs "(30% repeat fail chance)" and this guarantees the player is never scratching their head saying WTF?
Is each piece of armour rolled separately or together? What happens when coverage > 100% ?
CHANGE: ITEM CLOAK. I think a charm of Pixal is the way it brings in classics from the oeuvre of RLs and RPGs and gives it the Pixal twist. So the classic item in RLs that is missing is of course a cloak. As with gloves and luck this type of item should probably have a unique benefit of some kind. Graphically it should flow behind the Pixal out of the way of the rest of their equipment, I think.
BTW the new update is great, it is really shaping up along the right lines, good job!
