Introduction to Pixal

In Pixal, you handle a group of characters led by your main Pixal; Your task is to make them stronger, and win enough gold to make your guild famous and respected. When your journey starts you can only have 3 pixals, this number may be increased by enhancing your pixal guild at the expense of gold.

Techs and Battle System

The Pixal battle system is designed for simplicity and fun. In Pixal, a battle takes place when a player uses a Pixal against another; this may be part of the tournament, or a friendly duel. Once the attacking and defending Pixal have been choosen, the attacking Pixal gets to pick his attack techniques, and then the results of the combat are decided, depending on the levels of both Pixals, their equipment and their techs. A technique card represent a combat action that a Pixal may perform in a battle, you start with a small assortment of Techs, and you can earn new Techs by leveling up your pixal. Techiniques have varied effects, some depend on luck, while others are a result of the interaction between techs, and even the day and hour of the day! Your techs deck must be split between attack and defense; the defensive deck groups the techs you use when somebody duels you; when one of your techs is on the defensive deck it can't be used on an attack deck. You must change your defensive deck from time to time, else your enemies will discover it and will have an important advantage on combat!

Tournament

The Pixal tournament is the main way of acquiring money on Pixal, it is a fighting tournament in which Pixals from users all around the world gather around, seeking to obtain the gold prices and become stronger. To participate in the tournament, you must choose one of your Pixals to represent you and click its Join Tournament icon () Your Pixal will enter the tournament at its last position, and will have to make his way to the top. You can always see your Pixal position in the Tournament Standings Box To advance in the ranking, you have to challenge your immediate contenders. You can only challenge Pixals who are not more than 5 ranks ahead of you. When you beat a Pixal in the tournament, you get 10% of the treasure of its owner, the same happens if your tournament Pixal is beaten, so you have to find one or two ways to take care of your money. Once you get to once of the first 5 positions, you will start earning gold, with a payment being done each 45 minutes.
